18G Cut Level C Nitrile Foam Touchscreen Glove: Work Smarter, Stay Safer
June 29, 2026
Let's be real.
You need cut protection. But you also need to feel what you're doing. You need grip. But you also need your hands to breathe. You need to use your phone or tablet. But you can't keep taking your gloves off.
Most workers end up choosing convenience over safety. And that's when injuries happen.
At Qingdao Meiji Labor Products Co., Ltd, we believe you shouldn't have to choose.
Our 18-Gauge Cut Level C Nitrile Foam Touchscreen Glove gives you everything you need — cut protection, comfort, grip, and connectivity — all in one glove.

The Short Version: What You're Getting
| Feature | What It Means for You |
| Cut Level C | Stops blades (10+ Newtons) — perfect for glass, metal, assembly |
| 18-gauge liner | Ultra-thin, feels like a second skin |
| HPPE + Spandex | Cut resistance + flexibility |
| Nitrile foam palm | Grip in oily/wet conditions, breathable |
| Touchscreen compatible | Use devices without removing gloves |
| Knit wrist cuff | Stays in place, no slipping |
Why Cut Level C?
Under EN 388:2016, cut levels run A to F. Level C means the glove stops blades with at least 10 Newtons of force.
| Level | Force | Protection |
| A | 2N | Minimal |
| B | 5N | Low |
| C | 10N | Low to Moderate |
| D | 15N | Moderate |
| E | 22N | High |
| F | 30N | Extreme |
Level C is the sweet spot — serious protection without being overkill for most industrial tasks.
Meiji says: C is the new 4. The older standard used a 1-5 scale. Under the newer, more accurate TDM test, Level C delivers 10+ Newtons of cut resistance — the practical equivalent of what many older "Level 4" gloves provided.
The 18-Gauge Difference
Gauge = stitches per inch. More stitches = finer, softer, more flexible.
| Gauge | Feel | Best For |
| 7-10 | Thick | Heavy work |
| 13 | Moderate | General use |
| 18 | Ultra-thin | Precision, assembly |
Why 18-gauge matters:
* Feel small parts without removing gloves
* Less hand fatigue
* More breathable
* Better fit
Meiji says: An 18-gauge glove is the difference between "I can work in this" and "I have to take this off."

The HPPE + Spandex Combo
| Material | Job |
| HPPE | High-strength fiber — stops blades without bulk |
| Spandex | Stretch — moves with you, stays snug |
Together: Cut resistance + flexibility. No more bulky, stiff gloves.
Why Nitrile Foam?
Nitrile foam is different from standard coatings.
| Feature | Benefit |
| Micro-porous | Absorbs oil — better grip in greasy conditions |
| Breathable | Air flows through — no sweaty hands |
| Flexible | Moves with the glove, not against it |
| Palm-only | Grip where you need it, breathability where you want it |
Meiji says: Nitrile foam is the secret weapon for oily environments. Grip that actually works when things get slippery.
Touchscreen Compatible — No More Compromises
Most gloves force you to choose: stay connected or stay protected.
Not this one.
| Without touchscreen | With touchscreen |
| Remove gloves to use device | Use device with gloves on |
| Exposed to hazards | Stay protected |
| Wasted time | Work faster |
Meiji says: A glove that forces you to choose between safety and connectivity is a glove that gets left on the bench. We designed ours to do both.
